Technical Product Manager – Level 1

About The Position

Kaholo is a low-code workflow automation startup that visualizes complex technical processes so that general users can automate their software development workflows.

Requirements

  • 1-3 Years of experience as a Product Manager, IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, Sales Engineer, Technical Support, QA Engineer, or Software Developer within a software company
  • Experience writing technical documentation
  • Experience and/or accreditation in Agile frameworks, tools, and methods
  • Experience using a BI tool such as Mixpanel, Tableau, Google Analytics, etc
  • Strong written and communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work through ambiguous information and translate it into action
  • Pragmatic and capable of working in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure or CI/CD is a plus

 

Job Activities

  • Gain a deep working understanding of the Kaholo platform and its main use cases
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and team to validate requirements and deliver on expectations
  • Help teams assess and address dependencies and technical risks
  • Organize Sprint Planning & Grooming ceremonies at the team level
  • Break up larger stories/epics into smaller user stories for efficient delivery
  • Collaborate with Product Design to solve UX issues, test prototypes, and coordinate activities for each Sprint
  • Liaise between product and R&D teams to ensure everyone has sufficient information to complete design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle
  • Work with internal R&D teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Continuously sync with internal R&D teams for up-to-date statuses, ensure blockers are quickly addressed or escalated as needed
  • Provide clear updates as related to current Sprint progress
  • Assist in QA of the software and coordinate beta tests as needed
  • Ensure that product instrumentation and metric monitoring are in place
  • Manage the software release process
  • Provide product demos and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Write product documentation, ensure it’s up-to-date and meets user needs
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to develop sales support materials, knowledge-based articles, videos, demos, and use cases
  • Research and test competitor solutions and report on capabilities 
  • Analyze user behavior and product performance and provide actionable recommendations
  • Work closely with Support and QA to identify and prioritize bug fixes
